Insight Tree comes in two "flavors":
  1. Insight Tree Private Edition
    - Free of charge
    - Download Private Edition
  2. Insight Tree Professional Edition
    - Inexpensive, valuable, indispensible
    - Upgrade here

The Private Edition

The Insight Tree Private Edition may be used free of charge for
a) Private and personal purposes
Including:
- Your private and personal decisions
- Supporting the private decisions of your friends, colleagues, fellow students and alumni
b) Education (instructor-lead and self-directed learning)
Including:
- Academic teaching
- Academic learning
- Non-academic instructor- or trainer-lead teaching and learning
- Web-based and computer-based training (WBT, CBT), podcasts, webcasts and similar offline and online learning platforms
- Development of text books
- Self-directed learning
- Development of materials for education and trainings (incl. screenshots, exercises etc.)
- Development of master's theses, diploma theses, dissertations and similar documents

Note: Adding the Insight Tree setup to supplementary materials like CDs, online downloads etc. is fully supported by the Insight Tree End User License Agreement.
c) Evaluation of the software and its underlying methodologies
Including:
- Private and personal evaluation
- Evaluation for subsequent use in a governmental or for-profit organization
- Evaluation for review in a book, magazine, online media, or similar

Note: Under normal circumstances, time for evaluation usage is up to 4 weeks.
d) Organizations that are both non-governmental and not for profit
Including:
- Charitable organizations
- NGOs advancing ethical principles like
▪ Integrity
▪ Peace
▪ Social cooperation and development
▪ Health
▪ Education
▪ Environmental protection
▪ Cultural integration and diversity
▪ Protection of equal civil rights
- NGOs with other ethically and humanitarian oriented programs

The Professional Edition

In order to use Insight Tree for decisions in other types of organizations and applications, you must upgrade to the Insight Tree Professional Edition. Still a small investment, compared with the beneficial value of improved decision making.
